A message from our Founder 

 

“Being a Bay Area native, hats have easily become apart of my identity and culture. Not only will they keep you warm in the cold, also another way to express a message. Throughout the years wearing hats, I noticed my curls became very brittle and dry causing breakage - this is a no no! I started wearing satin scarves underneath and that just made it hot. I thought of the perfect balance, why not get a satin lined hat? This way I can wear the fresh hat design without sacrificing the moisture of my curls. So TopJah was created! The name TopJah came from overcoming many adversities in my life and having the reminder of always keeping the Most High at the head of my life. Keep going keep pushing! Coming from a background in tech/customer service, I wanted to combine my core skills with my passion of hats and creativity!”
